Anymotion just released a jump´n´run game wich was mainly developed by Anymotion´s trainees. As far as I can see it´s a solid piece of work, entertains a few minutes and additionally, you can apply yourself for an apprenticeship place at Anymotion.

Come on - let´s play!

Last night I came across an old snippet - an oldschool tunnel effect. It´s created by using 2 lookup tables. ´Cause this effect is processed pixel by pixel each line, the whole effect runs (a bit) slowly. Anyhow, you could built up the whole thing using DisplacementMapFilter´s to enhance the performance (and yes, it´s a 100% performance-boost), but let us just test the new flashplayer and execute that dusted lines 1:1. What a nice rehabilitation of inherited waste… (launch it.)

NOT!!!

My wifes birthday party last weekend brings to mind what hell of a fellow i am. Making a hell of a noise and trying my best at playstation´s singstar editions, but cannot sing a single note not at all. Sincere, some people shouldn´t sing or even try it - i for one!

anyMotion Graphics management gave us ( me and my flashteam at anyMotion ) permission to travel to brighton (uk) this year and visit the “Flash on the beach”-conference. It´s the first time I´m on a mammut event like this. So that means we have the opportunity to see over 40 of the best minds delivering 3 full days of inspiring sessions. Certainly the cream of the crop is, that anyMotion Graphics sponsors almost the whole trip and covers all our requirements.
