Algebraic curves- the chrysanthemum one.

Shifty hours at night are made for algebra. So why not make use of that field, bring it up to the garden and cultivate some mums. And this is what it look like…

arcade text styler

How to make dynamic text look a bit like an arcade font? I combined various filters to dress up an ordinary textfield and after that i just added a simple distortion to the bitmap the text was rendered to.

Here´s my final (for the moment) arcade text-styler.

writing changed… from wayback to now.

They´ve just published my second article, about sound visualisation in actionscript 3, for germans visualx magazin. It´s kind of funny how writing changed in my life. 10 years ago i used walls to communicate and as blog

today it´s the same kick to write articles about my themes of interest ( of course flash and especially actionscript 3 ). hope you´ll find a few spare moments to read my article in the new issue of visualx vol.17. Once again, it´s all about sound visualising, compute spectrum, nice effects, my sound visualising demo (the brightWhite experience) and much more.
